Post 4: My career

The architecture career is simply fantastic, it has  the characteristic to work in different areas (urbanplanning, urban policies, restoration of heritage sites, etc.) and countries.

Although it is also very complicated, I find it incredible that by means of drawings, different line thicknesses, creation of models / mockups, etc., other people are able to understand what we want to represent (to put it in another way, we                                 are constantly establishing a kind of language / dialogue with others), which I find incredible.

One of the greatest benefits that I have found in this career is that you are constantly working with              colleagues or with people who are related to the construction area, so we are working on developing the ability to  work as a team which is extremely important.

Personally, before starting my professional studies I was not very clear about what to do, until I discovered the television program called "Citytour", a program done by a well- known Chilean architect whose name is Federico Sanchez, which allowed me to remember how much I liked arts and maths (especially geometry), so discovering this program was a turning point in my life, forwhich I am very grateful.
